How do I track my order?
You’ll receive a tracking link via email when your order ships out. Sometimes these emails end up in your SPAM folder, so keep that in mind. If you have any questions about your tracking or shipment, drop me a line at natalie@mountainbeachfit.com.
Returns
Of course I want you to be super stoked on your new purchase, but if you realize it’s not quite the right fit -I totally get it. I offer returns within 10 days of purchase (for domestic orders). I only ask that you pay return shipping. Once the item is received and confirmed to be in “New” condition (i.e. undamaged) you will be given a full refund to the original payment method.
Exchanges
I do offer exchanges for items of the same value. However because I am an entirely online store there’s a bit more to it. If you buy an item, receive it, and realize you wish you would have bought something else, drop me a line at natalie@mountainbeachfit.com. I only offer exchanges within 10 days of purchase. I will ask that you pay shipping of the item back to me. Once I receive it and confirm that it is in “New” (i.e. undamaged) condition, I will send you a message and let you know that you can select any other item of the same value as the original purchase. I will then package up your item and I will pay for the shipping of the new item to you.
FAQs
Q: How do I know what my RING SIZE is?
A: Take a piece of yarn or thick string, wrap it around the finger you wish to determine the size for, and pul it just snug enough to eliminate any gaps in the string. Make a mark on the string where it meets the end. Then lay the string along a ruler to see how long it is. The length in mm will correspond to the desired ring size on the chart below.
Q: How do I know what my BANGLE SIZE is?
A: Bangles need to fit around the largest part of your hand/knuckles, so you will need to take a piece of string or measuring tape and wrap it around that portion of your hand, just like you are trying to put on a bangle. Measure (in inches) where the tape measure or string meets itself and that is your bangle size!
Q: Can I use my own seaglass?
A: Unfortunately I am no longer fulfilling custom orders with client’s seaglass.
Q: What’s the Difference between Gold-Plated and Gold-Fill?
A: Gold-Plated jewelry has a very thin layer of gold-plating on top of sterling silver. This is a process I perform in my shop using a gold-plating machine. I use 24k gold for the plating process. Because the layer of gold is so thin (think microns), a scratch on the jewelry may reveal the sterling silver underneath. I do like gold-plating, however, because it allows me to keep the cost of gold colored jewelry the same as my sterling silver jewelry. Gold-Filled jewelry has a much thinker layer of gold (I by 14k gold-fill) that is heated and pressed to adhere to a base metal in between the gold layers (usually brass). Gold-fill jewelry has great durability and a small scratch generally will not reveal the inner base metal.
Q: Have you ever been to Glass Beach at Fort Brag?
A: No joke, I get asked this question at least 100 times a year. No, I have not yet been to Fort Brag but hope to someday. I know you are not allowed to take glass from the beach and that there is another public beach south of the park that you can collect glass from
